Robert Scales, Ph.D., recognized competitors at a sevens rugby event for college students prior to his keynote address at the Turkish Sports Science 14th Annual Student Sports Science Congress at Afyon Kocatepe University (May 11-13th, 2022). Students, faculty and scholars heard how Mayo Clinic conducted a recent multi-site medical education intervention to introduce Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Sports Science students to a rewarding career in healthcare where innovation and technology were applied into clinical practice to enhance patient engagement in an effort to improve the health of the nation.
